But It’s Not Just About Love… Let’s Get It On!

So…two weeks ago at the show we had a unique situation.

There was a group of very fun, vocal girls in the front row. And across the aisle there was a table with a couple of guys.

During the show I always scan the audience for people to interact with. I’m looking for someone who looks fun and will play along.

At this show I noticed one guy in particular due to his smile and infectious laugh.

We’ll Call Him Smiley Guy

I pointed at him early on in the show and then moved on. But apparently he was having WAY more fun than I thought.

During the entire show he and one of the girls from the table across the aisle…

…had been making MAJOR Eyes at each other! Carisa happened to notice this because she knew a couple of the girls in the group. And apparently it went on throughout the ENTIRE show!

SO… after the show we were about to go down to 1959 Kitchen & Bar for our post show drink. But these girls INSISTED that everyone go to down the street to Old Town Social. Because…

That’s Where That Guy Was Going To Be!

“We Have To Go Dancing!” “We’re Going to Old Town Social NOW!”

So Single Girl left us immediately and went to Old Town Social.

The rest of us had a quick drink and then Carisa and the rest of the group went to find them.

I thought these girls were hilarious. And I was hopeful for them.

But I’ve Seen This Situation Before:

People flirt, get excited, and are told they HAVE to go to a certain bar only to show up and find that their crush went home in a drunken stupor. And now you’re stuck hanging alone at a bar you don’t want to be at, feeling crushed.
